Clothing: Simplicity is the key. Think first date. Think church. Solid colors are best. Anything else draws attention away from the face. Wear blouses, sweaters, or non-binding jackets with dressy slacks. Dresses with sleeves are fine.
Coordinate your outfit from head to toe in case shoes and stockings show up in the photo. Darker clothing tends to minimize body size. Necklines are important. Vee or scoop-necks flatter most people. High-necked garments, such as mock or turtlenecks, are a good choice if your neck is long and your face slender. See-through or strapless tops are not appropriate.
Make up: Wear some. More than you usually do. Even if you normally don't. You'll be much happier with your photographs.
Touch-ups: Bring a hairbrush and your make-up for last minute adjustments.
Appointments: After a brief presentation at the first Senior Class Meeting, a sign-up sheet will be circulated. Appointments will be available during the school day (utilizing student "free" periods), after school, and on Saturdays. Because shorter sessions can more easily be accommodated during school days, Saturday appointments will be reserved for larger sessions only.
Bring a friend if she will make you feel more comfortable, as long as she doesn't miss any classes. We don't advise or encourage parents to attend your session (unless they are being photographed with you). Parents can be very helpful with clothing and make-up decisions beforehand, however, and we encourage their participation with editing decisions after the session.
Promptness: Be on time to make the most of your session.
Cancellation and Payment: There will be a $75 charge for missed appointments unless a substitute is arranged or Ms. McLoughlin has notified me of an emergency. If you need to change your appointment, do so at least 3 school days in advance. For payment, bring either a check or complete VISA/MasterCard information to your session. American Express and Discover cards are not honored.

Our Sessions for Seniors start at $189. Call or email us for an initial free consultation. We will talk about what you have in mind, where the photographs will take place, and what session type best fits your needs.
A credit card (Visa or Mastercard) will reserve your session appointment. Appointments are available during the school day, after school, and on Saturdays. Feel free to bring a friend if you want. Parents may attend your session, however we’ve found that many seniors seem more relaxed without their parents there. Parents can be a great help with clothing and make-up decisions beforehand, however, and we encourage their participation with editing decisions after the session.

Think nice restaurant. Think first date. Simplicity is the key. Solid colors are best. Anything else draws attention away from the face. We encourage blouses, sweaters, or non-binding jackets with dressy slacks or jeans. For both girls and guys, pockets in the trousers come in very handy when we pose you. A dressier look with a nice dress or suit is also fine, of course.

Please call me 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to make your appointment. Unfortunately, if you miss your appointment without informing me, you're denying a portrait session to another family or to someone else. There will be a $75 charge for missed appointments unless you cancel 24 hours in advance.
Payment: Please bring your personal check, VISA, or MasterCard to your session. American Express and Discover cards are not honored.
