Here are some basic thoughts: simplicity is the key. Solid colors are best. Coordinating color and style is crucial. Necklines are important. Vee or scoop-necks flatter most people. For ladies: make up - wear some. More than you usually do. Even if you normally don't. You'll be much happier with your photographs. Bring a hairbrush and your make-up for last minute adjustments.

We work primarily outdoors, preferring natural light to anything man-made in a studio. Natural light shows everyone to a more attractive advantage, and the Monterey peninsula is full of gorgeous areas in which to shoot. Give us your suggestions and we can add some of our own.

Call or email us for an initial free consultation. We will talk about the number of family members to be photographed, where the photographs will take place, ideas about clothing, and what session type best fits your needs. Prices for our Family Sessions start at $200 and are separate from photography packages. A credit card (Visa or Mastercard) will reserve your session appointment.

Please call me 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make your appointment. Unfortunately, if you miss your appointment without informing me, you are denying a portrait session to another family. There will be a $75 charge for missed appointments unless you cancel 24 hours in advance.
